Morningside Presbyterian Church (MPC) hosts the following group meetings:
Narcotics Anonymous – meets weekly, Wednesday evenings, at 8:00pm. Individuals with questions, inquiries, or specific meeting attendance needs pertaining to Morningside Presbyterian Church may contact MPC or, to find out if the MPC NA group is a good fit for you, you are welcome to visit their next meeting.
CPR/AED First Aid class – offered twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, from 6:30-10:00pm. The class covers Adult, Child, Infant CPR, AED and First Aid, is Instructor-lead and interactive. It is ACCEPTED by the California Teacher Credentialing program (ASHI Certificate is accepted Nationwide), is open to everyone, and is OSHA Compliant for the Workplace.
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health) family support group – meets 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 6:30pm. For families dealing with loved ones diagnosed with a mental illness, NAMI offers a lifeline of support, resources, understanding and empathy.
Boy Scout Troop 97 – a charter of Morningside Presbyterian Church, meets every Thursday evening from 7:00-8:30pm in Fellowship Hall. The troop celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013 and has had over 115 young men earn their Eagle Scout rank.
Cub Scout Pack – meets the 3rd Friday of the month during the school year at 7:00pm.
