Worship Is Central to Morningside

Worship Design

Rooted in the Reformed theology, we design our liturgy with intentionality and anticipation. We choose prayers, hymns, songs, Scripture readings, symbols, and the proclamation of God's Word in a way that facilitates our connection with the Divine.

Our Worship encounter starts at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Order of Service:

Here is an example of what our Sunday’s worship looks like:

Holy Communion

Also known as The Lord's Supper or The Eucharist is a gift given by Jesus Christ to his people as a new covenant. We affirm that in participating in the meal of bread and cup, we are receiving the broken body of Christ and his blood shed for our sins. In doing so, we are in communion with God and with each other.

(Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:14-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-25.)
